Restoration Committee

The Restoration Committee consists of one State Lead, 15 County Leads, and 60 Restoration Team members.

What is the Restoration Team?
The Restoration Team is the ‘think tank’ that provides solutions for the State of Arizona and is the public interface of the State Assembly. The committee looks for (and develops) projects that need attention within the State and may additionally approve projects from the general public.

What does the Restoration Team do?
In short, it is the Restoration Committee’s job to “get things done.”

Working closely with both the Needs Assessment and Project Teams … once a project is assigned to Restoration, it is sent to the appropriate committee in one of the 11 major industries in the State of Arizona.

The subcommittees of that industry examine how that project will impact the environment (Air, Land, Water) and the People of Arizona. Once determined, further action is put forth with an obligation to restore, protect, develop, and implement a specific restoration plan.

Who Uses the Restoration Team?
Each committee in the APA will utilize the services of the Restoration Team at some point. This ensures every committee can investigate, plan, and develop a funded project that gets implemented to completion. (Examples include Energy, Water, Food, Environment, Farming & Agriculture, Health & Wellness, Education, and Security).

In the end, the primary responsibility of the Restoration Team - and the entire Arizona People’s Assembly – is to implement the will of The People of Arizona.
